Quality Western Australian Wines (QWA Wines) is the Market Development Office representing a collective of boutique wineries from Western Australia that are dedicated to crafting exceptional, high-quality wines.
Established in 2024 with the support of the Australian Government through the Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s Export Market Development Program and the Western Australian Government’s “WA Wines to the World Export Grants Program”, QWA Wines is dedicated to developing and promoting the finest Western Australian wines in the Vietnamese market. We are committed to bringing premium, authentic wines that embody the distinct character of Western Australia while resonating with the sophisticated tastes of Vietnamese consumers.
Our founder, Bruce Cussen, is a respected wine professional with more than 25 years of experience in Western Australia’s wine industry. He is the former owner and operator of Stringybark Winery and Restaurant—a highly awarded estate in the Perth Hills and Swan Valley regions, whose wines were regularly featured in James Halliday’s Wine Companion, Australia’s most authoritative wine guide.
Having lived in Vietnam for nearly 20 years, Bruce has developed a deep affection for the country and its people. His vision is to share the excellence of Western Australian wines with Vietnam, while fostering cultural and trade connections between the two nations.

Quality Western Australian Wines was founded with the mission to introduce and develop premium wines from Western Australia for the Vietnamese market.
We carefully curate selections from reputable boutique family wineries, each expressing the distinctive terroir and craftsmanship of Western Australia—renowned globally for wines that are elegant, pure, and balanced. Through this, we aim not only to bring world-class wines to consumers, but also to create meaningful cultural connections between Western Australia’s winemaking heritage and the sophistication of Vietnamese gastronomy.
